Is Kailash Open For Indians
Yes, Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is open for Indians from first week of June 2025. The Pilgrimage Tour to Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake was closed after covid-19 virus and slowly opens on last of 2023. At 2024, the Chinese and Tibetan government banned for Indian Nationality to control the over crowed as nearly 80% of pilgrimage are Indians. Tibetan Government feels unsecure by Covid-19 virus and if they open everyone, there will be more chance of spreading virus through overcorwed and pollution so they decide to banned. Later on , they built proper accommodation, increased service manpower and finally they lift the banned and allow everyone for the Spiritual Kailash Tour.
Age Limit for Indian Passport Holders
Mostly 80% of Kailash Yatries are Indians as due to Lord Shiva devotees followers are more in India.
