The Annapurna circuit with Tilicho Lake trek is the longest and adventurous legendary trek that combines the mesmerizing mountain ranges, walking on glacier lake “Gangapurna Lake and Ice Lake” and, Explore on world’s high-altitude lake “Tilicho-Lake”, pass world’s most significant Pass “Thorong-La Pass” and finally to Hindu and Buddhist Sacred sites “Muktinath”. While returning, Our team will take you to the Poonhill Sunrise view and natural hot spring “Tatopani” which aims to explore more during a limited amount of time. During this trek, the trekkers find the stunning mountain range from Upper Pisang to Pokhara, trekking trails follow subtropical forest and terrace-cultivated land.
This Annapurna Circuit main attraction point is Manang Village, Ice Lake and Green Lake, Tilicho Lake, Thorong-La Pass, and Sacred Muktinath Temple. We pass through Manang Village and explore Ice Lake and Green Lake while acclimatizing for the day. We ascend and finally to the most awaited Tilicho Lake. The lake is considered the World's highest-altitude lake. We descend to Ledar and prepare for the World's widest and hardest pass "Thorong-La Pass". Continue to descend to the sacred Muktinath Temple and be blessed by Hindu and Buddhist God. Our journey has not stopped here. We then continued to descend to Tatopani's Natural Hot Spring and fresh the sweaty body to Natural Hot Spring ponds. We then ascend to Ghorepani-Poonhill which is an iconic viewpoint for 360 degree mountain viewpoint. and finally reached Pokhara city. Best Time for Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek
Spring Season (March-May) and Autumn Season (September-November) are the best seasons for Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek in Nepal. During the Spring time, the walking trails welcome every trekker with blooming flowers, just apart from Winter, the mountains are filled with more snow, and the temperature becomes mild so walking is easier. Whereas during the Autumn Season, the weather is dry and stable. The temperature is moderate and blue sky. You will get excellent mountain views and the surrounding hills. But avoid trekking during monsoon time (June-August) and Winter (December-February).
Meals available during Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake Trek
During your 20-day Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake trek, we provide unlimited meals and enough drinking water throughout the tour. The trekkers order enough food for themselves, but they have rules; if they waste any items, they have to pay for those items. Breakfast and Dinner are provided at the overnight guesthouse, and lunch is provided on the way while trekking.
Freshly prepared meals are provided during the trek. We recommend taking some energy bars and chocolates during the trek. On the last day, we provide a farewell Dinner from the company side. You can share your trekking experience during this time.
Difficult Level and Physical Challenges During Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek
This Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake trek is considered a Challenging level trek that needs more strength and strong intuition to make the trip successful. The trek is a high-altitude trek of around 4920m (Tilicho Lake) and 5416m (Thorong La Pass) so proper acclimatization and strong cardiovascular fitness is needed. Regular ascent and decent trekking trails with stunning mountain views, local people, and a peaceful jungle are the motivation power during the trek.
Necessary Permits during Tilicho Lake and Thorongla Pass Trek
To undertake trekking in the Annapurna Region, it is imperative to possess the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) and the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card. The fees for the ACAP are as follows: USD 8 for Indian passport holders and USD 25 for other foreign nationals. Trekkers from Nepal are exempt from the requirement of any permits. It is important to note that should a trekker exit a designated trekking point and subsequently wish to rejoin the trek, they must acquire an additional permit.
